Paintball Tips For Beginners Paintball Players 2022

Paintball Tips

When paintball players are in the thick of the battle, paintball is flying everywhere. It’s easy to get caught up in the heat of paintball play and forget about safety or underestimate how much you really know about paintball. The following paintball tips for beginners will help paintball rookies get more out of their paintball game by improving their safety and skills on the field –

Recognize that paintballs don’t travel very fast. At distances greater than 15 yards paintballs can take more than a second to reach you! That means, even if your opponent appears to be aiming directly at you, they might not actually have a shot yet. Also, remember that just because they’re aiming at you doesn’t mean they’ll hit you (see paintball tips on paintballing averages).

Your paintball does not have to be broken. When paintballs first hit the ground they are bouncy and can even ricochet on some surfaces. After the paint has baked in the sun it will become sticky and matte. If you want your paintballs to bounce, shoot them when they’re fresh.

If you get shot with paintball then it is better to remain calm than freak out. A lot of people think getting shot is the worst thing that can happen during a game but paintball players know this isn’t true. You’ll often find yourself shooting at paintballs that are coming straight at you, paintball tips on paintballing averages can help you determine your accuracy even if it seems like everyone is hitting their target.

Be aware of the paint-filled balloons around the field. Even if paintballs aren’t flying, paintballs can ricochet off of props or bounce unpredictably when they land. When paintballs are fresh they will bounce an unpredictable distance away from where they were shot. Paintballs get progressively stickier and less bouncy the longer they bake in the sun so shoot paintballs while they’re still fresh for unpredictable bounces.

Be prepared to ask players not to shoot you. If you see someone walking up on you or pointing paintball at you it’s probably a good idea to ask them not to shoot because the paintball might actually hit you.

Follow The Rules :

There are a few basic rules that everyone should know before playing paintball. These rules are in place to ensure that the game is fair and safe for everyone involved.

First and foremost, always wear a paintball mask while playing. This is the most important rule, as it protects your face and eyes from being hit by paintballs.

Secondly, never remove your mask while on the field. This is also a safety precaution, as it helps to prevent injuries from happening.

Also, be sure to always follow the referee’s instructions. The referees are there to keep the game running smoothly and safely, so listen to their directions carefully.

Finally, have fun! Paintball is meant to be a fun and exciting activity for everyone involved.

Always Play paintball with a buddy.

Even if paintballing alone is allowed, paintballers know they should always paintball in pairs for safety and support. When paintballs are flying everyone can get so caught up in shooting that they forget about their surroundings or lose track of where their friends are located.

Paintballs Don’t Travel Very Fast

– Paintballs don’t travel very fast: 15 yards/second (about 10 mph) or less at distances greater than 20 yards or more, depending on gravity and humidity, etc. this means that you have more time to react than you might think, so don’t panic if someone is pointing a paintball gun at you

Paintballs ricochet off of some surfaces:

so even if it seems like the paintball is headed straight for you, take a second to assess and remember that paintballs can bounce unpredictably

– If you do get hit with paint, remain calm: getting shot is not the end of the world, and there are things you can do to minimize the paintball’s impact
