How Old Do You Have To Be To Play Paintball

Many people have wondered “How old do you have to be to play paintball?” When in reality, the right answer is “It doesn’t matter how old you are.”

Basically, age shouldn’t really be a problem when it comes to playing paintball. The reason why this misconception exists is that most fields only allow 18+ for legal reasons.

Of course, there are certain exceptions.

For example, Silver Fox Paintball allows up to 12 years of age with supervision from an adult. They also deem that if you are between 13-17 years of age, then somebody must stay with you at all times. On top of that, they make sure you understand the rules and regulations before participating in their games.

If somebody is 12 years of age, then they are allowed with supervision by an adult. If somebody is 13-17 years of age, then somebody must stay with them at all times and they need to understand the rules and regulations before participating in games.

Another example is Uprising Paintball in Scarborough Ontario where their policy states that you can play paintball if you are 10+ years old as long as there’s a parent or guardian present on the field who also played. So basically, your parents have to be there too.

As for other provinces around Canada, some do not require any age minimum while some only allow younger players during certain limited hours on weekdays or weekends when adults are present supervising.

On top of that – most paintball fields do not want to take the liability of your safety.

As long as you are healthy and cleared by a doctor, age shouldn’t really be an issue when it comes down to playing paintball.
